Nirupuma has been in Pakistan for hardly more than a year but is already regarded highly by her fellow journalists and friends. She has a wide cirlce of friends and is immensely popular.

 Almost all her friends regard her highly for her intellectual prowess, sincerety and honesty and her potential to sacrifice her personal interests for the sake of her friends which she recently demonstrated in Islambad to the astonishment of many.

Her despatches and columns in the Hindu and the Frontline are highly regarded not just in India but also in other South Asian countries, including Pakistan.

She is young and I see lots of potential in her and see her assuming important positions in times to come. More power to her!
